Buff Hearn & Parson's Pottery Dr. Hearn served United Methodist congregations throughout the Panhandle of Texas and New Mexico as pastor for thirty-eight years. Receiving a bachelor of science degree from Texas A&M University in 1966, Buff experienced a dramatic call to fulltime Christian service in 1971 and entered Asbury Seminary to pursue this divine appointment to serve the Body of Christ. Graduating in 1975 with a Master of Divinity degree, Rev. Hearn returned to Texas from Kentucky and begin to serve the congregations of the United Methodist Churches of the Northwest Texas Annual Conference. Rev. Hearn returned to Asbury Seminary for further academic training, receiving a doctoral degree from this esteemed institution in 1987. Not only has Buff continued to improve his skills and expertise in the ceramic arts over the years, the principles of pottery design and creation expands immeasurably the comprehension of the eternal truths of God's intimate relationship with His creation, and His loving formation of the human spirit into the likeness of His Son.
